Deb was leading a team of Business Bankers when she attended her first Coaching workshop. That is when the light bulb went off and she realised how little she knew about coaching as a manager, and the positive impact that leaders can have if they adopt a true coaching approach. Her mission since then has been to convert more managers into coaches.
Her areas of expertise include coaching leaders and teams to build culture and enhance performance, developing coaching effectiveness of leaders, and design internal organisational coaching programmes.
Deb has experience in various frontline and management roles across the financial services sector in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. This experience has allowed her to develop a strong understanding of the cultural nuances as well as the commercial aspects of coaching teams and running a business. Deb has worked with senior leaders across Financial Services to enhance leadership communication skills and effectiveness and embedding coaching practices to deliver tangible business results and cultural lift.
