David is one of Australia’s most experienced marketers, having spent close to 30 years in global roles for several of the world’s largest and most respected organisations. And more recently appointed Chairman of Shopper Media Group, Australia’s fastest growing Digital Out-of-Home media provider. He also runs consultancy projects for organisations including; ANZ, Optus, Tabcorp, Westpac, Macquarie University, Suncorp, Health World, Heart Foundation, Seven West Media etc.

A recognized industry thought-leader and Customer Experience expert, David spends much of his time training and coaching teams in next practice principles and processes, and mentors C-level business leaders off-shore and on-shore.

As an enthusiastic contributor to the quality of marketers in Australia, David was involved in setting up the The Marketing Academy in Australia supporting Sherilyn and the team, and has been involved each year since – candidate selection, presenting and mentoring.

David has also served on Management Boards for AANA, Nestle, Simplot, Fonterra & Pacific Equity Partners, is a regular industry speaker, and serves on judging panels for Mumbrella, AME, CMO50, etc.

His spare time is devoted to his two daughters, and Heart of Midlothian – his tragic Scottish football team.
