Monique Macleod, Chief Marketing Officer for Commonwealth Bank

Monique Macleod is the Chief Marketing Officer of the Commonwealth Bank. Prior to her appointment in December 2017, she has lead both the Brand and Sponsorship and Consumer Marketing teams.Monique brings the customer voice to the executive table. She knows the tremendous role that CommBank plays in the lives of our customers, in the communities we serve, with our people and for our shareholders.

Monique has played an integral role in driving CommBank’s leading position, launching Can, one of Australia’s most respected brand platforms.She has twice been recognised with a CEO Award for her go to market strategies as well as leading the team to win the Mumbrella Marketing Team of the Year Award. Monique was recognised in the CMO awards as one of the top 20 CMO’s in Australia.

She is a highly admired leader, who coaches and develops talent to grow marketing leaders of the future & is a passionate supporter of diversity in the team she builds.

When she is not at work, Monique spends time with her husband and two girls and is an avid skier and paddle boarder.
