Debbie is currently the Head of Marketing at the McGrath Foundation, a not for profit organisation that funds McGrath Breast Care Nurse right across Australia. Prior to this role, Debbie spent eleven years in financial services marketing for the Westpac Group, where she worked in a number of senior marketing and planning roles, including four years as Head of Westpac Brand.
Debbie is a highly skilled and experienced marketing professional with over 16 years experience in brand & marketing. She is a hands-on marketer, who believes that working with talented people, creating a trusted team and having great leaders, has helped her to get to where she is today.
Debbie has a passion for community programs. From her involvement in launching the Westpac Bicentennial Foundation, to telling the story of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and getting behind 200 Westpac Community Grant recipients, she is happiest when telling an emotive real-life story.
Debbie has the right mix of creativity and leadership to develop strategic marketing programs that deliver on brand purpose. Having recently made the transition from the corporate world to the not for profit sector, Debbie has been able to utilise this creativity and leadership to influence the brand and marketing program at the McGrath Foundation.
When she’s not working, she’s chasing after her two children and spending as much time as she can in rural & regional Australia. Her heart is very much in the country and perhaps that’s what makes her so down to earth.
