Victoria is currently National Head of Technology Platforms, which to you and I means she leads the digital product team for Wavemaker in Australia, delivering best in class strategic thinking and solutions for clients in biddable, programmatic and data. Prior to the merger between MEC & Maxus forming Wavemaker she was the Maxus Sydney Digital Director and before this the Digital Director across the VW Group at MediaCom.
Victoria’s tenure at GroupM has a number of key milestones that have gone way beyond her day job. From creating GroupM Australia’s first customised programmatic buying unit to leading the onboarding of a new client across five markets in SE Asia… which meant a two-month secondment to Singapore. The appeal of agency life for Victoria is the ability to work across an array of verticals, in her case spanning Travel, Finance, QSR, FMCG and Automotive. This gives her exposure to the very different marketing approaches of each and to cross-pollinate those learnings.
Victoria is as passionate about cultural issues as she is about her product and champions gender equality for Group M in the ‘All Means All’ inclusion and diversity initiative. On top of this she mentors University students from non-media related subjects to introduce them to the media industry and provide a new stream of talent to agencies.
Victoria takes a ‘people first’ approach to life…and her work reflects this with her dedication to building strong relationships with clients, partners and colleagues alike.
