Zoe Cocker, Head of Brand, Verizon

Zoe Cocker is currently the Head of Brand at Verizon media, having been with the business for
over 5 years in both the London and Sydney offices. Currently responsible for establishing and
consolidating a clear market leadership position for Verizon media, launching to the brand to the
ANZ market. As well as owning the local brand messaging she also oversees operations of the
commercial content offering and carving out a new branded content team. The past 8months has
seen Zoe restructure and set up the commercial offering in ANZ, making way for the new brands
Verizon brings under its umbrella; Huffington post and RYOT Studios being the two big wins for
this market.

Prior to moving to Australia Zoe helped navigate the Yahoo and AOL merger to launch a new
company called Oath, the opportunity that opened up conversations for her to migrate to Australia
to help with Yahoo separating from Seven West media under Verizon Media.
Zoe’s experience of leading high performing teams across sales, marketing, partnerships and
strategy for Yahoo, Tesco and Disney is what led her to where she is today. Her grounding in
Disney offered her the expertise in building commercial teams and offerings for the most
recognised and loved brands and characters in the world.
