NOMINATIONS FOR THE MARKETING ACADEMY AUSTRALIA 2017 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME NOW OPEN

  • 3rd year of this powerful, part time, completely free learning & mentoring programme for 30 emerging leaders within Marketing, Advertising, Communications and Media. Previoulsy known as the Austrlaia Leaders Programme it has now been renamed the Scholarship Programme, bringing it in line with The Marketing Academy programmes in the UK and USA.
  • The Scholars receive one-to one mentoring from some of Australia’s most high profile CEO’s, CMO’s, Marketing experts & Agency Presidents
  • Scholars also attend Lectures delivered by global experts and work with an Executive Coach for the entire duration of the programme

The Marketing Academy has opened nominations for the 3rd year of its esteemed programme which gives aspiring marketing leaders the skills and knowledge to get to the top of their industries.

Each year 30 of the Marketing, Advertising, Media and Communications industries brightest talent are selected to undertake this 9 month, part time and completely free leadership development programme.  To take part in the renamed Scholarship Programme potential Scholars first need to be nominated via www.themarketingacademy.org.au by midnight on 16th December 2016. Following nomination, individuals are invited to apply for the Scholarship and take part in an intense three stage selection process in order to be offered a place which begins in March 2017.

We will enable them to develop the values, beliefs, behaviours and skills to not only be outstanding but to help change the world we live in. Australia is a major force in brands and business and we want to ensure that the next generation of senior leaders have the knowledge and wisdom to continue focusing on inspiring and purposeful change’.

The Marketing Academy has redefined the 4Ps of marketing creating 4 core learning modules. The new 4Ps are: Personal development – be an extraordinary human being; Professional development – be an exceptional marketer; People development – be an inspirational leader; and Purpose – be a change maker.

The 2017 Scholarship Programme includes;

  • One to one mentoring sessions with Australia’s most experienced  leaders from the world of marketing and advertising. The line-up of 50 Mentors includes; Mark Reinke, Group Executive Marketing Suncorp; Andy Lark, CMO Xero; Professor Mark Ritson; Mark Lollback, CEO GroupM; Marty O’Halloran, Chairman DDB; Phillip Lynch, MD Johnson & Johnson; Robbert Rietbroeke, CEO PepsiCo and Terry Savage Chairman Cannes Lions.
  • Three immersive residential Boot Camp’s packed with inspirational speaker and masterclasses
  • 9 months of one to one coaching with an Executive Coach
  • Attendance at 4 Scholarship Lectures, each hosted by recognised subject matter experts.

Described as ‘life changing’ and ‘transformational’ by past attendees the Scholarship Programme is open to all marketers within brands and agencies with between 10 and 20 years experience.  Scholarship places are also be granted to entrepreneurs.

For the 3rd year running the programme is sponsored by Google, Commonwealth Bank and News Corp Australia and this year they are joined by Microsoft who also partner the Academy in the UK.   The Lecture element of the programme is supported by Mediacom, Seven West Media, Macquarie University and Clemenger.
