Kate Wright, APAC Marketing Manager, Uber

An entrepreneur at heart, Kate is a customer focused business leader with a drive to make a positive impact. Kate has over 15 years of business experience with expertise in marketing strategy, product development and innovation.

Kate is currently the Marketing Manager at The Arnott’s Group developing plans for iconic Australian brands such as Scotch Finger & Iced Vovo. Alongside her core role, Kate is the marketing lead for The Arnott’s Group sustainability team responsible for developing and executing the company’s sustainability agenda.

Sustainability is a passion area for Kate which was ignited during her time working at Unilever in London where she was responsible for the brand development of market leading homecare brands across Europe.

Her career highlight to date, was launching her own business, Somersault Dips – a range of nutritious flavourful dips with a twist. Her favourite flavour from the range…Zesty Pea & Fresh Mint! Kate built the business from idea right though to execution gaining ranging in key retailers across Victoria. This was an experience which enabled her to ‘wear all the hats’ managing all facets of the business.

When she is not in the office, you can find Kate at the park with her two daughters, Harriet and Audrey or running around Sydney training for her next running adventure.
