Susan Massasso, Managing Partner, Massasso Advisory Group

Susan is a Non-Executive Director and Senior Advisor with a strong track record in delivering business transformation and scale-up commercial growth, domestically and internationally. Susan has extensive and contemporary customer and retail experience, expertise in building and executing within digital ecosystems and working with founders both at an ASX C-suite and Non-Executive level.

Executive accomplishments include being an integral C-suite member of a lean leadership team transforming The a2 Milk Company from a $62m disruptor into a $1.7bn purpose-driven leader of nutritional products. This unique experience enabled involvement in unconventional marketing, diverse e-commerce and offline retail channels. Susan also cultivated passion and expertise for developing strategy that incorporates IP, critical ESG elements and an appreciation of the overlapping importance of culture on the company’s sustainability and reputation.

Ranked #3 marketer in the CMO50 (2018), Susan’s 25+ year career also includes long-term roles at The Arnott’s Group, Unilever and PwC, with deep in-market experience across Greater China, North America, Korea, South East Asia and ANZ.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Marketing) from The University of Sydney (completed under scholarship with PwC audit) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Susan is a wife and mother to 3 spirited teenage boys and a super happy dog Harper.
