……over who is going to get my Merlin!!!

For those of you who don’t know, each scholar will receive a Merlin mascot which they are to give to the person they feel has helped them the most at the end of the year.  Up to now, every mentor session I have been to I have walked away thinking “yep you’re going to get my Merlin”!

My first session was with Cilla Snowball of AMV.BBDO who was a real inspriration and clearly demonstrated the qualities of a great leader.  I then met with Kristof Fahy of William Hill who gave me so much food for thought, needless to say I came away buzzing with ideas. He has also continued to be a great help following the session.  This week I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Brassington, CEO and Founder of Starfish Consultancy (formerly Group Managing Director at 2ergo) who totally exceeded my exptectations. I knew he would provide invaluable knowledge on mobile technology but I did not expect him to be able to advise me so well on some other issues I was experiencing.

I still feel so privileged to have been given such an amazing opportunity and I want to say if there are any future scholars out there, do everything you can to become a part of this. If there are any potential mentors out there reading this, please do get involved, we are so grateful to you, you have no idea how much you are helping us!

So, Marketing Academy, please can I have more Merlins????
