Matt Tovey is a senior marketer with extensive experience across media, digital and proposition development.
He is currently Head of Marketing – Performance, eCommerce and Content for Coles Group where he leads a team responsible for eCommerce proposition development and go-to-market strategy, content strategy and performance marketing for the group. In addition, he is currently leading the in-housing of performance marketing for Coles Group, creating a strategic media function for the future.
Prior to this role, Matt served as Senior Marketing Manager – Performance and eCommerce where he was responsible for performance marketing strategy for Coles and driving increased revenue growth for eCommerce. He also developed numerous customer value propositions including Rapid Delivery, Coles Plus, Coles app and the launch of automated fulfilment centres, resulting in the increased NPS scores and revenue growth for the business.
Before joining Coles, Matt has held senior roles across Deliveroo, Spotlight and Kmart, where he was responsible for developing new category focused media strategies and brand and customer value propositions for the brands.
Outside of work Matt is an avid traveller and enjoys to hike. He also has a keen interest in health and fitness, so you can often find him trying to survive another Hyrox course.
