Alastair Pegg is a Board-level marketing leader, consultant and mentor with more than 25 years’ experience helping organisations drive growth through brand, customer engagement and commercial transformation. He has held senior leadership roles across financial services, property, telecoms and consumer-facing businesses, working with organisations including The Co-operative Bank, Nationwide Building Society, Virgin Money, RAC and Howden Group.
Known for combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, Alastair has led major brand repositioning, digital transformation and customer growth programmes, often within complex and highly regulated environments. His work has consistently focused on building brands that create both commercial value and meaningful customer relationships.
Alongside his consultancy work through AMPM Marketing Ltd and his current role supporting University of Oxford Development and Alumni Engagement, Alastair is passionate about developing the next generation of marketing leaders. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), an award-winning marketer and a regular industry judge for organisations including the Effie Awards and the Financial Services Forum.
As a mentor with The Marketing Academy, Alastair brings an open, honest and commercially grounded approach, helping mentees navigate leadership, career progression, brand strategy and the realities of modern marketing leadership.
