Alex is a passionate advocate for the customer and a champion for diversity and inclusion in the media and marketing industry – she is a marketing leader with over 15 years experience in the industry across a range of disciplines spanning loyalty, programmatic media and audiences, innovation, e-commerce, brand strategy and digital transformation.
As the National Marketing Manager for Loyalty at Coles Supermarkets, Alex is responsible for the development and execution of Coles’ Loyalty strategy and promotion of Flybuys, Coles’ loyalty program. Alex also represents Coles for the Unstereotype Alliance – an alliance convened by UN Women, whose objective is for brands to adopt an intersectional approach to progressive portrayals of all people, and address the diverse representation of gender, race, ethnicity, disability and age in media and advertising content.
Prior to her current role, Alex looked after Coles’ Value communications as Senior Marketing Manager for Brand and Content and prior to that as Senior Digital Marketing Manager where she was accountable for the brand and marketing communications of Coles online.
Before Alex joined Coles, she worked for Accenture on a range of initiatives for global and national clients – including Flybuys, where she played an integral role in setting up their entry into media-audience data division which leverages shopping and sales data to enable advertisers to better target their paid media.
Alex holds a bachelor of Commerce /Arts from Melbourne University.
Outside of work, Alex is mum to four year old twin girls, a keen runner and an avid tennis player.
