Alexis Sharples, Marketing Director, ITC Travel Group

Alexis is the Director of Marketing at ITC Travel Group, one of the UK’s leading luxury tour operators that has been established for nearly 50 years. Having followed her passion for travel, Alexis is now responsible for creating and integrating marketing strategies across the group’s five B2B and B2C travel brands. Working with some of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotel groups and partners, Alexis has been dedicated to developing her team and delivering substantial growth through brand development, lead acquisition, customer engagement and retention.

Having joined the business in 2008 on a university placement, Alexis has worked her way up from being a marketing assistant to a group director. During this time, she has produced national television advertisements, led the business in new brand acquisitions and launched a customer insight programme from scratch.

Passionate and with a natural desire to nurture those around her, Alexis is now focussed on motivating, coaching and mentoring to encourage people to have confidence in their own abilities and make a difference.

Along with having a huge love for travelling the world, Alexis enjoys all things cultural, having had an early background in performing arts. She most recently has become inspired by SpaceX and NASA’s rejuvenated space programme – exploring a life beyond ours and understanding what could be possible for our future generations.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
