As a charity sector expert, Amy is passionate about leading change and delivering impact for good causes.
At Worldwide Cancer Research, Amy has been a transformative force, building the marketing function from scratch. By addressing infrastructure, market segmentation and strategy, a Brand relaunch and martech revolution, Amy has been instrumental in the charity’s financial turnaround. Now, with a talented team of ten, she oversees the end-to-end audience experience, delivering market insight, Brand and performance marketing, digital experience, supporter journeys and care.
With Project Scotland, the youth volunteering charity, Amy helped young people into work with resourceful, creative marketing that was recognised at The Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards. For the heritage charity, the National Trust for Scotland, Amy spearheaded campaigns that raised millions. Her implementation of a new pricing and membership recruitment strategy resulted in a 200% increase on the benchmark and subsequently transformed the NTS business model. She led on the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum capital campaign, raising £23m and an annual appeal programme raising £1.5m. Many of the campaigns founded by Amy were recognised with awards and some continue to deliver exceptional results for the charity today.
Amy is blessed with two children and works hard to be the best mum she can be. Spending quality time with her family and having seaside adventures are her favourite ways to relax. Amy values wellbeing and places a focus on steadying the work-family “see-saw”, wishing to prove that success need not compromise a beautiful, fun-filled life.
