Angie Klein, SVP, Verizon

Angie Klein was the Vice President of Consumer Segment Marketing for Verizon. An experienced marketing and sales leader, she is responsible for segmentation, value proposition development and pricing across the consumer wireless postpaid and prepaid businesses, as well as the consumer wireline operation which includes the Verizon Fios fiber-to-the-home service portfolio. Collectively these businesses serve more than 80 million customers every day across the US. In addition to those functions, she leads the innovative and award-winning Verizon Up loyalty program.

Prior to this, Angie led brand and creative strategy for a number of Verizon’s emerging businesses and product solutions, such as over-the-top video, telematics and the Internet of Things. Klein spent much of her Verizon career in a number of leadership positions in the wireline division of the telecom giant, with executive roles spanning sales and operations to customer acquisition strategy and product development.

Klein holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Nebraska in both business and journalism. She was the recipient of the Nebraska Young Alumni Achievement Award in 2011, and honored as a Nebraska Alumni Master in 2014. In 2015, she was presented with the This Woman Means Business award at the annual Marketing to Women Conference. Angie was selected as a 2016-2017 David Rockefeller Fellow and also serves on the Lower East Side Girls Club Board of Directors in New York City.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
