Anna Braithwaite is the Chief Customer Officer at John Lewis, a role that marks a significant return to where she began her career as a graduate trainee. Over an initial 12-year tenure at the partnership, she rose through various store and marketing roles before building a 25-year track record in retail and brand marketing. Most recently, as Marketing Director at Marks & Spencer, Anna was a key architect of the brand’s successful transformation across fashion, home and beauty. Prior to this, she has held other key marketing roles including Global Brand Director (non-food) at Tesco, Head of Marketing at F&F (Tesco) and Head of Marketing at Hobbs.
