Anna Braithwaite, Chief Customer Officer, John Lewis

Anna Braithwaite is the Chief Customer Officer at John Lewis, a role that marks a significant return to where she began her career as a graduate trainee. Over an initial 12-year tenure at the partnership, she rose through various store and marketing roles before building a 25-year track record in retail and brand marketing. Most recently, as Marketing Director at Marks & Spencer, Anna was a key architect of the brand’s successful transformation across fashion, home and beauty. Prior to this, she has held other key marketing roles including Global Brand Director (non-food) at Tesco, Head of Marketing at F&F (Tesco) and Head of Marketing at Hobbs. Renowned for delivering change, Anna has a proven track record of transforming brands and driving growth.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
