Ashley Moran is Executive Director of Experience Design & Research at Comcast Business, currently part of the Digital Marketing leadership team. With more than 25 years in the field, she has built a career at the intersection of design, technology, and marketing—spanning product innovation, omnichannel journeys, and digital transformation.
Over her career, Ashley has grown and led teams of up to 80, and today leads a multidisciplinary group focused on creating seamless digital experiences across web and mobile for small business, mid-market, enterprise, and public sector customers. Since 2020, she has set the vision for digital transformation and delivered measurable increases in engagement, lead generation, sales, and customer satisfaction.
She is an Emmy Award-winning design leader and holds eleven patents for innovations in consumer technology, including Comcast’s first voice-enabled remote control and TV interfaces. Before Comcast, she played a key role at Motorola designing mobile devices, including the iconic RAZR phone, translating complex technologies into elegant consumer products. She began her career in business consulting with Arthur Andersen and KPMG, helping clients navigate the early challenges of digital business.
Ashley is recognized for her ability to connect research, data, and creativity into innovative strategies that bring journeys and experiences to life. While her roots are in product and service design, she has successfully evolved that expertise into marketing—helping reimagine how complex B2B brands can show up in market and better serve business customers of all sizes.
Passionate about developing others, Ashley mentors students and early-in-career designers, and has contributed to international peer learning cohorts such as The Collaborative Gain. Outside of work, she serves on the board of The Clay Studio in Philadelphia and is Editor for the global initiative Slow Art Day. She grew up in a log cabin in North Carolina and loves remote adventure travel, paddle boarding with her terrier Darwin, and connecting over food, wine, and art with friends around the world.
