Ayesha is described as ‘the beating heart of Grey London: sensitive, inclusive and above all totally dedicated to creative excellence’. In her current role of Head of Account Management, she has injected many critical aspects into her department including community spirit, commercial focus and confidence, as well as a training approach that helps the department set the best conditions for creativity thrive in.
Ayesha describes her purpose as ‘not being about what I have achieved, but have I helped others to achieve’. This approach is so evident in the work she has done to open doors that she had to push against throughout her advertising career. She is one of the key players who have built a culture of genuine inclusivity at Grey London that isn’t just about ticking boxes. Ayesha has led Grey’s internship programme for the past 5 years, ensuring the process and experience from first application to joining the agency is as inclusive as possible. This has resulted in a greater number of Interns taking on longer-term roles in the agency (+50%). In the past 12 months, she has been fundamental in successfully launching a DEIR Client Charter, which is changing the way they create, make and produce work for clients, putting representation at the core of everything they do.
In her 15+ years of experience, Ayesha has built brilliant relationships with Clients and made award winning and commercially effective work for many brands including Samsung Mobile, Fidelity, Vodafone, Kellogg’s, Virgin Money, Braun (P&G), Very and GSK.
Outside of work, Ayesha is a proud Mum of 2 girls who she says have helped her value the importance of being the best role model she can be, every day. Her favourite things are the 3 Fs – food, family and fun… not necessarily in that order.
