Barni is marketing director at Sportsbet, Australia’s biggest corporate bookmaker, Sportsbet.
Barni started his marketing career as a graduate trainee at News International and left five years later as marketing director of News’ online products. Subsequently he worked in Ecommerce, Sports and Telecoms sectors before joining Paddy Power to spearhead the company’s entry into the UK in 2001.
When Paddy Power acquired Sportsbet in 2009, Barni joined the Australian business in a non-exec capacity, subsequently making the move to Australian, joining Sportsbet full-time in 2011.
