Ben Herson is a Cannes Lion–winning, Daytime Emmy–nominated marketing leader and creative director with more than 20 years of experience shaping brand storytelling, narrative strategy, and digital campaigns. At Amazon, he has held three creative leadership roles across owned channels, paid reputation marketing, and now leads Amazon’s internal corporate communications creative studio. He has directed omnichannel campaigns that have reached tens of millions worldwide, strengthening brand trust, clarity, and engagement.
Previously, Ben was Director of Creative Partnerships at CNN’s Great Big Story, where he oversaw sponsored content strategy and production, creating award-winning campaigns for Fortune 100 brands, including Procter & Gamble and MillerCoors. As Executive Producer at The Washington Post BrandStudio, he led integrated campaigns for Mastercard, AT&T, and Subaru, combining data-driven insights with creative storytelling to deepen brand resonance.
At Viacom’s MTV World, Ben served as Senior Series Producer on Rebel Music, a Clio Award–winning series exploring the intersection of art, activism, and global culture. He also founded Nomadic Wax, a media company dedicated to amplifying youth, politics, and social justice through global music and film.
His work has been featured in The New York Times, Billboard, and the BBC. Alongside his industry leadership, Ben has delivered lectures and workshops at Harvard, NYU, Columbia, and USC’s American Film Showcase. A lifelong professional musician, he has released multiple albums, toured worldwide, and continues to perform annually at music festivals.
