Bernard Salt AM is a well-known Australian business advisor and media commentator. He has written weekly columns for “The Australian” newspaper for 20 years.

His core expertise is in interpreting social and cultural change. He has published six books, headed a business TV show call “The Next Five Years”, is a frequent commentator in the Australian media, currently heads a interview-style podcast called “What Happens Next”, and is a regular on the Australian speaking circuit where he addresses boards and senior management teams about consumer behaviour and social change.

Bernard is perhaps best known for popularising there term “smashed avocado” globally! Bernard was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2017 for his services to helping Australians better understand the their nation and society.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
