Bonnie has chosen to spend the majority of her career at companies sitting at pivotal moments of transformation. In August 2020 she joined the marketing leadership team at Crain Communications as they build and grow a sustaining digital subscription business. She oversees acquisition, retention and engagement marketing across the company’s portfolio of best-in-class brands such as Ad Age, Automotive News and Crain’s Chicago Business.
Prior to joining Crain, Bonnie built Cengage Learning’s Consumer Marketing team from the ground up. She launched the education industry’s first-ever course material subscription service, Cengage Unlimited, leading the development of a relatable student brand and full funnel marketing strategy that drove over 2M subscriptions in the first 2 years.
Before Cengage, Bonnie followed her passion for music and television to a career in entertainment and media. She spent five years in marketing leadership roles at Pandora, leveraging advertising partnerships to develop consumer facing marketing programs, custom content and live events including an annualized calendar of franchise programming.
Earlier in her career Bonnie was the Director, Integrated Marketing – Movies & Video Games at Nickelodeon, and held marketing positions at AOL, Universal Music Group and RCA Records.
A born and raised New Yorker, Bonnie is a proud graduate of New York University, holding a B.S in Media, Culture and Communications. She currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with her husband and their rescue dog, Dobby. Bonnie is a fitness enthusiast, animal lover and entertainment junkie, and would love to share opinions on the newest boutique fitness craze, dog café or show to binge on Netflix.
