Boon Lai is Managing Director, Product Marketing for Google Workspace. He plays a key role in shaping the future of work with Google’s communications portfolio (including Gmail, Chat, Meet and Calendar) for 3 billion users and businesses. Boon is passionate about being at the forefront of where technology and cultural change come together – to help people connect, collaborate and ultimately, evolve social perception for the better of all.

Boon brings with him more than 25 years of global B2B and B2C experience, having held executive roles in New York, London, Amsterdam, Shanghai, and Singapore. He has a successful track record of creating breakthrough marketing and delivering profitable business growth in roles such as GM for Philips Digital Health, CMO for Nokia Technologies, and VP Marketing for Cisco Webex.

While his accomplishments include accelerating record growth and expanding existing categories, he is most proud of instilling a high performance team culture with a positive attitude, agile mentality and collaborative teamwork.

Boon has been named Gold Winner ‘Marketing Executive of the Year’ @ Stevie International Business Awards 2018, and Winner of ‘International Marketer of the Year’ @ MMG Media and Marketing Global Awards 2009.

Boon received his MBA from London Business School and BS in Business Administration with honors from Boston University. He serves on the Board of Directors for Reaching Out MBA. Boon is bilingual in English and Mandarin.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
