Candy Lee is a foodie, an overconfident kayaker, and currently the Chief Marketing Officer at HelloFresh Canada, Inc., which is focused on disrupting and transforming the traditional food solutions industry.
As a recipient of Marketing Magazine’s Top 30 Under 30 Award as well as other marketing industry accolades, Candy has a track record of jump-starting brands, companies, and teams – both big and small, global and local. Her background ranges from managing brands such as Budweiser and Bud Light, to driving hyper-growth at tech companies such as ecobee and Travelzoo. Beyond the accolades, what she is most passionate about is how marketing can become a big bet for an organization, from working on big turnarounds, to helping tech startups set up their first-ever marketing functions.
Candy is also an advocate for female equality in the workplace through past board work with Lean In Canada, and led the expansion of the nonprofit into the nationwide, multi-city nonprofit that it is today.
Candy studied at the University of British Columbia and Vienna School of Economics, enjoys advising early-stage tech startups, and currently sits on the board of Meal Exchange, a nonprofit organization devoted to inspiring and empowering students to create healthy, just and sustainable food systems.
