Caroline is the Head of Global Fan Engagement at Red Bull Racing Formula 1 Team. She defines the marketing strategy for how the Team engages with fans both digitally and physically, for a rapidly-growing sport with global reach. Caroline joined Red Bull Racing back in 2021, and was brought in to set up and recruit a team of leaders to help deliver her business vision. Since the start of the Fan Engagement department in 2021, the team have seen exceptional growth across digital channels, both in terms of proposition growth – the development and launch of a multi-award winning loyalty programme ‘The Paddock’ – as well as through fan acquisition itself, with millions joining the database. Caroline is ultimately accountable for the growth, engagement and retention of fans across all digital platforms.
As a self-confessed sports-nut, Caroline’s background has always been routed in Strategy and Fan Engagement in sport, having worked for 6 years across Premier League football clubs. Caroline has always been focused on expanding teams’ fan engagement offerings, and finding new ways for fans to build an emotional connection with the teams she worked for. While she claims not to take credit for the Premier League trophies won with Manchester City, the Champions League won with Chelsea or the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships won with Red Bull Racing, she has joked that one day she will join Southgate’s or Wiegman’s England Football Team to bring home a World Cup!
Outside of work, Caroline lives with her husband and cat Geno in leafy Buckinghamshire. She’s regularly found on a sports field or court, having played Netball and Lacrosse for England and recently taken up badminton and squash. When not on court, she’ll be reading books or spending time with family on the South Coast, nursing her overworked and painful knees!
