Chanel Gant is the Senior Brand Manager of M&M’S®, an iconic Mars Wrigley brand. As the leader of one of America’s favorite candy brands, Chanel works to drive and deliver marketing strategies and executions that help fuel brand love and sales growth. She is passionate about building brands and businesses through meaningful experiences, with consumer-led insight at the core.
Since joining Mars Wrigley nine years ago, Chanel has led marketing initiatives across Mars Wrigley: Media, ORBIT® gum, EXTRA® gum and Fruity Confections. Most recently, she led creative excellence and iconic, award-winning campaigns for EXTRA® and SKITTLES®; and celebrated M&M’S® purpose launch in partnership with Lil Nas X.
As a marketing leader, Chanel enjoys collaborating within teams to meet common goals and nurturing inclusive environments where people can bring their full selves to the table. This is especially important and she leads her team in efforts to drive meaningful growth on the M&M’S® brand through sales and culture.
Prior to joining Mars Wrigley, Chanel led agency teams on media strategy and activation across client accounts including Wrigley, Kellogg’s, HGTV and AAA, delivering experiences that drive brand love for consumers and move businesses forward. She’s a Detroit-area native and studied Advertising & PR in undergrad. She completed her MBA at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, fueling her energy for brand marketing and running successful businesses.
Chanel is part of the Future Leader Class ’23 cohort of Black Executive CMO Alliance (BECA).
Chanel currently resides in the NYC-area. She enjoys visiting museums, trying new restaurants, and traveling with friends and family.
