Chris Nolan, Founder & Managing Director of Principle Media Group (PMG).

Chris is business owner, independent Board Director and business advisor. He is the founder and Managing Director of Principle Media Group (PMG). PMG is a media agency that includes a portfolio of global and Australia brands, including; Sportsbet, Centr by Chris Hemsworth, Gordon Legal, Don Smallgoods, Yumi, Grill’d, Lifespace, Emily Sky Fit, Soulfresh, Providoor, and Bob Jane T-Mart. It provides global digital and traditional media strategy, planning, performance and buying services.

Chris was formerly the CEO of SMG Media Group, also holding the role of COO for Publicis Media ANZ. He has had 25 years in media and advertising, having previously worked with blue chip clients including Suncorp, Samsung, Optus, Holden, Subaru, Nike, and ANZ Banking Group. As COO of Publicis Media, and Director of Starcom & Mediavest Group (SMG), Chris led operations across the five brands within the Publicis Media portfolio; Starcom, Mediavest, Zenith, Blue449/Match, and Performics. Publicis Media employs 720 people across Australia and New Zealand, providing advertising services to 15% of the $7.0 billion advertising industry. Chris led the transformation of Publicis Media from a media buying company to a product and consulting services business.

He has also holds the positions; Chairman OSQO a fintech offering products to the home lending sector, Director of Australian television production company WTFN, Director of the Western Bulldogs AFL Football Club, Board Member of Alfred Hospital Foundation and is Chairman of the Audited Media Association of Australia.

Chris has a Bachelor of Science from Monash University and has undertaken Master of Marketing Studies at Monash and Sydney University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
