Throughout her career, Cilesta has been guided by a deep belief in the magic that happens when creativity, clarity, and purpose come together. Before joining BT, she was Chief Marketing Officer at Global, the Media & Entertainment Group, and at Virgin Media, where she brought the company back to growth by revitalising its brand and culture to create one of the UK’s most dynamic marketing stories.
Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Tele2 in the Netherlands and Sweden, brands renowned for their challenger spirit and energy.
A Dutch native now based in London, Cilesta brings clarity, courage, and curiosity to every challenge. She is passionate about building teams that dare to dream big, shaping brands that make people feel something, and championing marketing as a force for growth and for good.
