Courtney Williams has 10 years of experience leading business development and growth initiatives for both holding companies and independent agencies alike. She brings a honed craft for business development that’s as passionate and purposeful as any other discipline at the agency. Courtney has a deep knowledge of the industry, an ever-present eye on the agency landscape, and a knack for courting marketers over the long-haul.

Courtney led The Martin Agency to victory in the most successful new business win quarter in the agency’s history – adding 15 new brands to the roster in just 8 weeks. And while at The Martin Agency, the agency has been recognized on the 2023 & 2024 A-List by AdAge, 2x Agency of the Year winner by Adweek, and is one of the top 10 Most Innovative Agencies in the country (Fast Company.)

Outside of her new business responsibilities, she is very intentional about infusing diversity and inclusion into multiple aspects of the business. From marketing and brand communications to new business pitches and creative work, Courtney lends a critical, yet empathetic, point of view to cultural relevance and impact.

She has been recognized by leading ad and marketing magazine Campaign US, as an Inaugural Female Frontier honoree and one of Business Insider’s Rising Stars of Madison Avenue 2021. She currently serves as the co-chair of the 4As New Business Committee, volunteer for the Can: Diversity Collective, Diversity Steering Committee & Change Management Task Force; has previously served on the board of the Atlanta chapter of SheSays and #TimesUp; and is a mentor and advisor with 4As Multicultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP). The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
