Dale, Partner & Head of Production at Chronicle Studios, has been instrumental in the team’s expansion and the widening of its capabilities over the course of his four-year tenure. With a background rooted in traditional Account Service roles at agencies like VMLY&R and DENTSU across New Zealand and Australia, as well as The Idea Shed in Sydney, Dale’s passion for production has been evident from the outset.
Outside of his account service responsibilities, Dale became a self-taught photographer and videographer in 2018. His shift to creative production, driven by a thirst for knowledge and occasional operator roles, fuelled his determination to establish his own production company. This came to fruition in the middle of the pandemic in 2020.
At Chronicle Studios, Dale takes charge of production processes, content creation, and the cultivation of the company’s industry presence. His proactive approach to seeking new business opportunities in Australia and New Zealand, alongside ongoing team development initiatives, ensures Chronicle’s continued success.
Dale’s leadership is characterised by authenticity and trust, fostering a culture of unity and collaboration within Chronicle. His commitment to the “one team one dream” ethos has reshaped Chronicle into an environment where every voice is valued, and teamwork flourishes.

Outside of his professional endeavours, Dale is an avid sports enthusiast, particularly passionate about football (supporting Chelsea FC), and long runs to unwind. Importantly, he still finds time to indulge his love for photography, running an online fine art gallery that supports local artists.
