Danielle Ruggles, Marketing Manager, KFC UKI

Danielle Ruggles is a Marketing Manager at KFC UK & Ireland, where she leads some of the brand’s most finger lickin’ work, responsible for overseeing new product launches, balancing sharp retail strategies with bold creative. Since joining the UK business in 2021, Danielle has led some of its most buzzworthy, brand-building campaigns, including the Christmas “Kentucky Fried Turkey” and “Finally Finger Lickin’ Fries”—both award-winning campaigns that helped put KFC on the cultural radar.

With over a decade of QSR marketing experience across Canada and the UK, Danielle brings a mix of curiosity and creativity to everything she does. She’s played a key role in repositioning KFC as a more modern and culturally relevant brand—growing its organic social reach by over 5,000%, championing trust-building initiatives within the marketing calendar, and helping to launch KFC’s first-ever Youth Advisory Board to bring more diverse perspectives into the room.

Seven years into her KFC journey and she still can’t resist a bucket of mini fillets!

Her career started in Toronto, where she held marketing roles at Subway and later KFC Canada, working across advertising, social, PR and sponsorship marketing. Along the way, she’s driven double-digit digital growth, shaped new brand narratives, and been recognized globally as one of KFC’s emerging leaders.

Outside of work, Dani is happiest trying new projects in her garden, experimenting in the kitchen, lacing up her running shoes or planning her next travel adventure.
