David is one of Australia’s most experienced marketers having led global roles for several of the world’s largest organisations, and now as a consultant to many of Australia’s leading companies including; ANZ, Optus, Tabcorp, Suncorp, Seven West Media, Sportsbet, OMD, Westpac, PwC, among many others.
David is a recognised industry thought-leader with a passion for customer-led business growth. David spends much of his time training & coaching teams in next practice business principles and processes, and mentoring c-level leaders on-shore and off-shore.
As an enthusiastic contributor to the quality and capability of marketers, David was involved in setting up the The Marketing Academy in Australia supporting Sherilyn and her team, and has been involved each year since – candidate selection, presenting and mentoring.
David is a regular industry speaker and serves on multiple judging panels. In 2021, David was honoured to receive the CMO “Marketer’s Champion” Award, in its inaugural year.
His spare time is devoted to his two daughters, and Heart of Midlothian – his tragic Scottish football team.
