David Robinson, Chief Customer Officer, Hearst UK

David joined Hearst UK in October 2023, as Chief Customer Officer, where he is responsible for the growth of customer revenues and members, as well as leading Hearst UK marketing, insight and analytics, data, engineering, and audience teams. He also holds P&L responsibility for the health and wellness brands, Men’s & Women’s Health, and Runners World.

Prior to joining Hearst UK, David ran his own marketing agency, Colour & Numbers, specialising in deploying interim marketing leadership to deliver audience and subscriber growth, CX, UX, and UI design and innovation. Ahead of this, David held several senior roles at News UK, including Managing Director of The Sun, Betting & Gaming Director, and Customer Retention Director of The Times, joining News UK from BBC Studios, where he was Publisher of Radio Times.

David was accepted onto, and completed, the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Marketing Group of Great Britain. David has three children, Lenny, Hallie, and Charlie, all of which have resisted his ambition to share his misguided passion for Tottenham Hotspur.
