Selected by Marketing Week as one of the UK’s Top 100 most effective marketers, Dave has been at Sky for nearly 4 years, the first 2 years as Marketing Director for Broadband and Connectivity and now currently as Marketing Director for Sky’s sports vertical, covering Sky and NOW TV. With a remit covering brand strategy, subscriber acquisition, brand advertising and customer communications, he also set up and runs Sky’s group wide Marketing Capability programme. Prior to this, Dave was Brand Marketing Director at BT, responsible for marketing all BT’s consumer product lines including BT Sport, Broadband, TV, Mobile and Plusnet.
Before moving into Entertainment and Telco, Dave spent over a decade in global FMCG working in a variety of local and global marketing rolls within Unilever, ABInbev and Glaxosmithkline. Latterly as Brand Director for Lucozade.
Dave believes passionately in the power of creativity to drive business success and his creative work has been widely awarded including Cannes Lion’s, D&AD, IPA Effectiveness, the One Show, and Marketing Week.
Outside of work Dave has recently completed an MBA at Warwick Business school, watches his beloved Grimsby Town and spends most of his time running around after his three young daughters.
