Deepa Sen, Senior Director, Brand, EA Games, Electronic Arts

Deepa is a global marketing strategy executive with a track record of orchestrating integrated experiences that elevate products into meaningful brands.

She’s currently leading a team of marketing & communications strategists at Electronic Arts to develop strategy across a portfolio of gaming titles. In her time at EA, she’s developed a new campaign strategy practice, defining the process for audience insight articulation, creative brief development, and channel planning, ultimately unlocking more cohesive consumer journeys. This new process has helped push EA’s franchise marketing from predominantly trailer-led campaigns, towards brand activities in more immersive and integrated formats, including a live-action film starring Mark Hamill for Star Wars Survivor, music videos and TikTok duet challenges for The Sims, a personalized art generator for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, and podcast storytelling for Battlefield.

Deepa’s work in marketing has won several industry awards and been written about in the press. Previous to EA, she spent ten years on the creative agency side, working across a wide range of sectors including food & beverage, retail & e-commerce, finance, travel, beauty, and even pest control. During that time, she was singled out by AdAge and Business Insider as a leader in advertising, and her work has won top awards at the Effies and Cannes Lions.

When she’s not strategizing, Deepa is an enthusiastically experimental chef, and a deeply conflicted Penn State football fan.
