Duke Tanson, Chief Digital Officer, Glamira

Duke joined Glamira in September 2022, as a board member responsible for performance marketing, ecommerce, and digital product.

Prior to joining Glamira, Duke was the Marketing Director of Missguided where he led teams across
teams across Brand, Performance Marketing, CRM and Marketing Analytics. Duke reshaped our marketing strategy, developed a more realistic and achievable business plan with trading, as part of the new investment process that succeeded in securing investment from Alteri Investors.

Duke spent 5.5 years at Boohoo Group PLC where he led the digital transformation of the group. He was the Group Head of Digital Marketing where he built and led an international team of over 40 digital marketing professionals for boohoo, Nasty Gal, BoohooMan and Misspap in delivering monthly digital revenue in excess of £40m. Duke’s passion for digital marketing and the desire to develop marketing talent, led him to launch the boohoo digital academy aimed at broadening the digital marketing knowledge across the group.

Duke also held two roles at the Hut Group, leading a multilingual in-house team of digital marketing professionals executing digital marketing strategies for 16 brands, 63 websites in 18 languages globally. His innovative approach, inclusive leadership style and results driven approach won him the employee of the year award in the first year.

Duke is married with 3 kids, a motor racing fan, loves a good red wine or a single malt whiskey. He is currently working on his golf skills.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
