Elaine Herlihy, Chief Marketing and Product Officer / NED – OFX

Elaine Herlihy is Chief Marketing and Product Officer at global money transfer firm, OFX, where she leads global marketing, product and data analytics.
Before joining OFX, Elaine was Marketing Director at PayPal Australia, where she was responsible for driving customer growth and engagement across both the consumer and merchant portfolios and building the PayPal brand in Australia. Under Elaine’s leadership, PayPal was named ‘Most Trusted Brand’ in Australia by research company Ipsos.

Previously Elaine spent eight years at Westpac Group leading brand and marketing functions across both Westpac and BT Financial Group’s Superannuation business. Prior to that, she spent ten years at Reuters in London, in a variety of marketing and communications roles.
She’s an Independent Director on the Boards of Mine Services and PayPal Giving Fund.

Elaine is passionate about fostering a culture of professional and personal development. In 2018 PayPal’s marketing team was named “Marketing Team of the Year” by B&T. In 2017, Elaine was named as a winner of the B&T Women in Media Awards (Marketing).

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
