Emily Gibson, Senior Director, Season Pass, Vail Resorts

Emily Gibson is the Senior Director of the Season Pass business for Vail Resorts, the world’s largest ski resort operator. In this role, Emily leads the Acquisition, Retention and Business Operations teams and is accountable for driving data-driven revenue growth of Vail Resorts’ largest line of business.

Prior to leading the Season Pass team, Emily led Resort Marketing for Vail Resorts’ Western Region, inclusive of Whistler Blackcomb, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and Stevens Pass resorts. In this role she led a team of corporate and resort-based marketers to lead visitation strategy, lift ticket revenue growth, and enhancement of the guest experience. She was also instrumental in standing up Vail Resorts’ newly-centralized Brand Marketing organization.

Before joining Vail Resorts, Emily spent seven years in brand management at General Mills, leading business growth and brand stewardship for iconic food brands like Nature Valley, Lucky Charms, Pillsbury and Betty Crocker. Emily’s early career was spent in book publishing on the marketing side, with several years running her own book marketing firm, Scout Strategies. She holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BS in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Emily is proud mom to two dynamic and extremely loud little women, Nora (6) and Harper (2) and is deeply passionate about driving conversations and action to support working parents – especially moms – as they navigate career and family. She, her daughters, and partner, Jeff, live in Golden, Colorado.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
