Emily Ketchen is Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President for the Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) at Lenovo. In this role, she leads a global team that develops and drives marketing campaigns, oversees brand marketing, customer insights and creative direction across all business segments in IDG. She defines the IDG marketing strategy to grow the Lenovo brand and drive expansion worldwide.
Emily is also Board Member – Outward Bound California, Marketing 50 Member – World 50 Group, Official Member – Forbes Communications Council, Most Powerful Women Member – Fortune.
Prior to joining Lenovo, Ketchen held several senior marketing roles, including Head of Marketing, HP Americas for Personal Systems and Marketing Services. In this role, Emily was responsible for creating end-to-end marketing programs including marketing strategy and execution, spanning Consumer, Commercial, Public Sector and Marketing Services. A versatile senior leader, Emily was most recently tapped to create and lead the global omnichannel go-to-market team. Prior positions at HP include Regional Head of Marketing Services and Personal Systems Marketing for Asia Pacific/Japan, where she was based in Singapore and VP of Worldwide Integrated Marketing and Communications.
During her more than 32 years’ marketing career, Emily has held senior roles at Publicis & Hal Riney, Grey San Francisco, Dell, Poppe Tyson/Bozell Advertising, Falcon Cable TV and Iberia Airlines of Spain.
Emily holds a degree in international relations from Pitzer College, part of the Claremont Colleges. Fluent in Spanish and French, she studied at the University of Paris, Sorbonne and IEP while pursuing her undergraduate degree.
She resides in San Francisco with her husband and their two children.
