Emily Murren, Director, Consumer Marketing – Domain

Emily is a passionate, creative and commercially minded marketing leader with over 10 years experience across a diverse range of industries in both the UK and Sydney.

Emily has been at Domain, Australia’s leading property marketplace, for four and a half years, currently in the role of Director of Consumer Marketing, leading teams across two brands through enormous growth and huge change. From being a small part of Fairfax Media and a ‘distant second’ in the category, to the ASX listed property powerhouse it is today, cemented in the lives of 6 million Australian’s per month.
Emily has led teams to deliver the biggest campaigns in the company’s history including National outdoor campaigns, a multi-year sponsorship of number one Nine TV show The Block and Platinum partnership of Cricket Australia’s Men’s Test Team.

Always striving to develop strategies based on solid insights, Emily has taken the team on a journey to bring Domain’s media strategy, planning and measurement to a new level. 2019 involved on-boarding new creative and media agencies, kicking off new brand research, media measurement and attribution frameworks.
Experienced in understanding complex stakeholder relationships, Emily enjoys coaching a team to help them professionally develop and deliver on business goals.

Before Domain, Emily worked across different sectors including online education and luxury goods delivering new product development, B2B marketing and developing brand strategies to grow market share.

Passionate about health and wellbeing you’ll find Emily on a treadmill at Barry’s Bootcamp or boxing at Undercard, or sipping on an Aperol spritz on a Sydney rooftop. A huge lover of travel and new cultures, Emily has travelled to over 40 countries – most recently Rishikesh India, for her Yoga Teacher Training and a stint exploring Mexico.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
