Emily Trent, serves as the Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing, for HomeGoods & Homesense, a division of the TJX Companies, Inc. — the leading off-price apparel and home fashions retailer worldwide. There are more than 950 HomeGoods and Homesense stores that employ more than 40,000 associates nationwide with sales volume in excess of $8 Billion. Other global TJX brands include T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Sierra, T.K. Maxx, and Winners.
Emily has oversight of strategic branding and marketing for the TJX US home divisions and has been instrumental in driving the tremendous growth of the HomeGoods chain for 10+ years. She has held numerous leadership positions within TJX, including head of marketing for both TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Emily was also a key member of the core executive team that introduced Homesense to the U.S. in 2017.
Prior to TJX, Emily spent time at Houston, Herstek, Favat and Arnold Worldwide where she worked on iconic campaigns such as the highly awarded Drivers Wanted campaign for Volkswagen, anti-smoking efforts for Massachusetts DPH, and the American Legacy truth campaign.
Emily is a graduate of Ohio University and currently resides outside of Boston with her husband and three children. They remind her to keep everything in perspective and laugh every day.
