Emma Dodd, Senior Brand Marketing Manager – Google

Emma is a strategic marketer with over sixteen years of experience across FMCG and Tech. Her career spans Brand and Retail Marketing roles across Australia and the United Kingdom, featuring impactful work with world-class consumer brands including Google, Coca-Cola, Unilever and Hellofresh. Known for her strategic acumen, Emma has a proven track record of translating brand vision into market-defining campaigns that deliver tangible, high-impact business results. A passionate and results-driven people leader, she champions the professional and personal development of her teams, with a focus on building an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Emma has been at Google for the last six years, most recently serving as Director of Devices and Services Marketing for Google Australia in a maternity cover role. In this capacity, she demonstrated a strategic ability to pair strong commercial acumen with sound creative instincts and empathetic people leadership.

In her core role leading Brand Marketing for Google Pixel, Emma has been instrumental in scaling Global product launches and campaigns while pioneering high-profile sports partnerships. This includes leading the brand’s engagement with the Australian Open and the AFL. Her leadership of the Pixel and Australian Open partnership earned industry recognition, including the B&T ‘Best Use of Sponsorship’ Award and the MFA ‘Brand Impact’ and ‘Best use of Events and Experiential’ Awards.

Outside of work, Emma is mum to three beautiful girls and while she is a confident and seasoned leader at work, raising three young girls has taught her more about leadership than her entire career to date. An avid camper and lover of the outdoors, Emma is constantly seeking adventure and time to reconnect with nature and most recently spent over three months living in a tent with her young family.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
