Emma Paxton, Marketing Manager – Cadbury, Mondelez

Emma is a Marketing Manager at Mondelez International. She is currently heading up the Cadbury Christmas and the All-Year Round, Giving and Sharing business worth £500M+ with a team of 7. Within her 10 years at Mondelez, she has worked in multiple markets, including Australia and New Zealand for 4 years and gained experience across a breadth of disciplines including brand, commercial, innovation and growth strategy. Within marketing specifically, she’s led many brands including Cadbury Masterbrand, Cadbury Heroes & Roses, Maynard’s Bassets, BelVita, and spent time developing a new healthy snacking brand; Upfront.

Described as a lighthouse by peers, friends, and family, she brings sunrise energy, boldness, and visionary thinking into everything she does. Consistently trying to raise the bar, to unleash the potential of the people around her, and the meaningful impact the marketing industry can have on broader society, with dial shifting ideas! In general, you won’t find many who have as much passion and energy for the industry as Emma.

She’s most recently known for the momentum shift of Cadbury Christmas in the UK, where the campaign platform Secret Santa has helped to shift Cadbury’s share of attention in the season, enabling 1 million people to partake in an act of generosity in Britian. It won Marketing Week’s award for best multi-channel marketing campaign alongside the Grand Prix and Marketing Societies Innovation & CFO Prize, both in 2023. Followed up by a Silver IPA for effectiveness in 2024 for the campaigns ongoing compound creativity impact.

Outside of work, Emma loves to travel, ideally to locations where she can surf and be near the water. She loves all matter of baked goods, so will spend weekends either cooking with friends and family or cycling to a new bakery.

All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
