Freddie joined the international marketing team at ClassPass in 2020 overseeing business in the UK and EMEA, managing a team of regional marketers, driving growth and post COVID business recovery across 10 countries, UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, Nordics, UAE, Austria, Germany, Portugal, and Switzerland.
Prior to ClassPass Freddie gained a wide range of experience working within the Sports industry, implementing the brand activation strategy for commercial partners on behalf of Chelsea Football Club, before moving to Formula E. Here he joined the team as one of the first Marketing hires with ownership for the international fan growth strategy as well as new market launches, where he was responsible for growing the brand into New York, Hong Kong, Monaco, Saudi Arabia, Rome, and Berlin.
He then went on to take an active role leading the global brand direction, focusing on innovative and commercial projects such as successfully becoming the first sport to have a certified net-zero carbon footprint since inception, amending the value proposition with a purpose-driven rebrand on accelerating electric vehicle adoption, as well as leading several award-winning initiatives on increasing millennial viewership by delivering a 3-year influencer marketing strategy with over 250 content creators.
Away from the office, he holds several advisory roles with Seed-stage startups, as well as Shoreditch House. He takes a particular interest in coaching and supporting others, being active as a mentor to Marketing Scholars at The University of Leeds, and continues his passion for running, having completed a handful of marathons for Chordoma UK (Sadly getting slower each time).
