Gary Booker, CCO, Centrica

Gary was previously the Chief Marketing, Innovation and Strategy Officer for Rentokil Initial, the global leader protecting people from the dangers of pest-borne disease and the risks of poor hygiene in over 90 countries. He sits on the Group Executive Leadership Board with responsibility for business strategy, innovation, R&D, digital, global accounts sales and global marketing, and has been instrumental in the company rising to a FTSE30 position and doubling in value over the past 5 years, as well as being voted the Best Place to Work in Britain in 2019.

Gary has previously held CEO and CMO roles for companies including Dixons Carphone, O2 / Telefonica, Selinon, and Electronic Arts in San Francisco, and has twice founded successful start-ups. He holds a BSc. Honours degree in Business, Law and Psychology and an MBA in Strategic Marketing, and speaks regularly at Henley Business School on Customer Experience and Innovation.

Gary is also a member of BAFTA, a council member of ISBA, and continues to invest and provide non-executive director support for innovative new businesses.

All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
