Ms. Geraldine Chin is the Chairman and Managing Director of ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and a Director of ExxonMobil Asia Holdings Pte. Ltd. and ExxonMobil China Petroleum and Petrochemical Company Pte. Ltd. She is a member of the Public Service Commission of Singapore.
Prior to her appointment in Jan 2021, she was the Asia Pacific Sales & Trading Manager responsible for Product Trading, Sales, and Supply. In her thirty plus year career with ExxonMobil, she has held a broad range of positions in the Fuels & Lubricants business including retail, commercial sales, supply, trading, strategy & planning, and refining.
She has also had stints in controllers, human resources and in research with Exxon Research & Engineering in the United States. Ms. Chin is passionate about leadership development of women and Asians, chairing an in-house council focused on development of the next generation of ExxonMobil leaders. She is the management sponsor of the Women’s Interest Network, a grassroots employee resource group that promotes the advancement of women in ExxonMobil. She is engaged in company-wide activities, such as ExxonMobil volunteer programs like the annual Adopt-a-Rental Block grocery donation, Junior Achievement and small group volunteering.
Ms. Chin, a Singaporean, has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry (Honours) and a Master in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. She is married and has a son.
