Ginny has spent a delicious decade in the hospitality sector, starting at Brindisa before her current role as Head of Brand and Creative at Dishoom.
During her ten years at Dishoom, Ginny has played a pivotal role within the marketing team. Collaborating closely with the founders and senior leadership, she has contributed to scaling the business from two restaurants to eleven, adding thirteen delivery kitchens and launching an eCommerce store.
Beginning her career as a plucky marketing generalist in 2014, Ginny now leads the overall brand strategy, creative direction and campaign development across restaurants, delivery, online, products and brand activations – at every step championing and prioritising the guest and customer experience.
With extensive experience launching UK restaurants, Ginny excels in story-driven interior design briefs, thorough research, conceptual thinking, and dynamic content creation. She has managed and now oversees Dishoom’s digital presence, curating impactful brand-building content for integrated campaigns (whether opening a new restaurant, writing and launching an award-winning cookbook or creating a unique immersive theatre production) across all digital touchpoints: website, email, CRM, e-commerce and social.
Having been part of the foundational days of Dishoom, Ginny has ‘grown up’ with one of the industry’s most cherished brands. Dishoom exists to break down barriers and joyfully bring people together – this is a mission she is immensely proud to be part of.
When not brewing up ideas over Chai, Ginny enjoys dancing (enthusiastically), admiring bridges, travelling for food (particularly to South Asia) and hanging out with her ‘spirited’ children.
