Greg is currently Vice President, Small Business Banking & B2B Product Marketing at American Express. He is responsible for the overall product marketing and go-to-market strategy for American Express’ growing suite of small business products. Greg and his team develop strategies and campaigns that grow awareness, consideration and conversion of these products that ultimately help business owners do more business. He has a track record of innovation, developing award-winning creative and tackling “first-ever” initiatives. Greg is also an active leader in Amex’s Hispanic & Latinx colleague network, HOLA. He currently leads Global HOLA Strategy & Communications, working closely with Global HOLA leaders and volunteers to grow our impact for our colleagues and the communities we live and work in.
Prior to this role, Greg was the Director of Business Checking & Multi-Product Marketing where led the overall launch and marketing strategy of our first-ever proprietary business checking account. at American Express. Prior to that, Greg was Director, Marketing Strategy & Planning, for GCS Marketing where he led strategic planning and projects, helping oversee $1bn+ in P&L delivery. Prior to this, he was Senior Manager & Chief of Staff, Global Brand Management where he drove collaboration across the enterprise as their team successfully rolled out the company’s first-ever truly global brand platform and drove an 8% in the value of the American Express brand valuation to $19.1B. Prior to Amex, he was a consultant for the leading middle market consultancy globally.
Greg currently resides in NYC, has a passion for uncovering emerging genres of music and indulges (occasionally) in new fine dining experiences. He is also an avid traveler, having visited nearly 30 countries, and speaks 3 languages fluently – English, Portugese and Spanish!
