Hamish McVey is Director of Marketing at British Airways, where he is responsible for the airline’s brand and marketing strategy. In his role, Hamish overseas the development of the BA brand, global marketing campaigns, the management of global media investment as well as overseeing a portfolio of premium brand partnerships, ranging from England Rugby to Whispering Angel.
Over the past 2 years he has also taken on wider responsibility for the transformation of the cabin interiors and enhancing the premium customer experience. He is currently overseeing the launch of BA’s new First cabin which is scheduled to roll out in 2026 bringing new standards of British luxury to the skies.
Prior to joining British Airways in 2008, Hamish held marketing roles at T-Mobile UK and started his career at RS Consulting. Hamish also chairs the Executive Committee of ISBA, the trade organisation for UK advertisers.
